Commencement Ceremony Unveiled for Phase-I Housing Construction Project of Nigeria's National Police Headquarters
 

On April 25, 2016, the commencement ceremony for Phase-I housing construction project of Nigeria's national police headquarters by POWERCHINA Kunming was held. Nigeria's Police Chief, representatives of the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat) and the Shelter Afrique, and relevant personnel of POWERCHINA International Group Limited and POWERCHINA Kunming attended the ceremony.

Located at Gousa Town in the capital Abuja, Nigeria, the project involves totally 1,004 sets of houses, with a total building area of about 178,855.6 m2 and a total construction period of 20 months. After completion, it will solve housing problems for some police officers in the capital. Nigeria"s Police Chief Solomon expressed gratitude and praise to POWERCHINA International Group Limited and POWERCHINA Kunming for their contributions and hoped that they could build more high-quality and comfortable houses for police officers in Nigeria.

The commencement of the project marks that POWERCHINA has successfully entered housing construction market of Nigeria. It is a significant step for POWERCHINA to further expand Nigerian market and even African market and will contribute to promoting international development of POWERCHINA.
